Welcome to the
AUSTRIAN HEIMATWERK’S BORD OF TRUSTEES

The non-profit society exists since 1952 as the network of all Heimatwerke in Austria and the Austrian workshops. In the committee the common projects for supporting the ideal, cultural and social-political aims of the member’s institutions are worked out.  

The member’s institutions are not-profit orientated cultural- and trade institutions in Austria. As their first goal the want to support the vivid development of material and immaterial goods in the regional traditional and every-day culture.

The committee is member of the “Verband Europäisches Heimatwerk” (society of European Heimatwerke), founded in 1972, in which again numerous Heimtawerk-organizations of Europe are represented.
